Golden Frieza Graces Cover of Special ‘DBZ: Resurrection F’ Book for Moviegoers; New TV Spot Shows Blue-Haired Goku

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ’F’, set to hit theaters April 18, is gathering hype for its original story. Going far being just a new tankobon volume, moviegoers will receive “Toriyama Akira Kakioroshi Kyakuhon Kanzen Shuroku JC Sai ‘Kami’ Kan Dragon Ball Z Volume ‘F’” (JC Most ‘Godly’ Edition Dragon Ball Z Volume ‘F’ with Complete Script Written by Akira Toriyama). Details on this bonus have been revealed at this time along with a visual of the front cover. A new TV spot is also available on the official site that shows Goku in a new form taking on Golden Frieza who shines with a gold aura.

On the cover of the the “JC Most ‘Godly’ Edition Dragon Ball Z Volume ‘F’ with Complete Script Written by Akira Toriyama” present to moviegoers are nine characters with Frieza in the center. A highlight not to be missed is the artwork uses the design that followed the “Shinsoutei” (New Bound) edition of the manga. The pages of the book reveal for the first time the story behind the script written by Akira Toriyama and setting illustrations drawn just for the book with handwritten comments from Toriyama. This limited present to moviegoers will likely become an essential collector’s item for fans.

The new TV spot shows Goku in Super Saiyan form along with the phrase “Well, bring it on!” In a drastic shift from the Super Saiyan God red hair, Goku’s blue hair is striking, and even his aura is changed to blue.

Goku is a “Super Saiyan with the power of a Super Saiyan God” and it seems the power he possesses is immense. What kind of tactics will be used in this ultimate battle between a golden Frieza and a blue-haired Goku? Don’t miss the conclusion on the big screen.

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ is the newest film in the series and comes roughly two years after 2013’s Battle of Gods. The story features Frieza, an overwhelmingly popular villain in the series, returning once again to attack Earth. The theme song is by female idol group Momoiro Clover Z, and Maximum the Hormone is in charge of the battle song.
