Attack on Titan Part 2: Wings of Freedom movie poster released with Levi and the Female Titan!
Attack on Titan Part 2: Wings of Freedom will be out in theaters on June 27. The main promotional poster released for the movie will surely become a fan favorite. The poster is full of many popular characters including the main character Eren Yeager, heroine Mikasa Ackerman, and Levi of the Survey Corps.
Featuring over 20 characters with humanity’s most powerful soldier Levi front and center, the poster delivers a powerful impact. The Female Titan, a major threat to the human race, also can be seen on the poster. The new movie will include unseen footage to build on the TV series’ ending, as well as a new dubbed remastered version in 5.1 channel audio.
In addition, the Blu-ray and DVD of Attack on Titan Part 1: Crimson Bow and Arrow will be released on March 18. The first editions will include eight bonus items including an original soundtrack CD and a commentary booklet by director Tetsuro Araki. The first edition will be 9,720 yen for the Blu-ray and 8,640 yen for the DVD, while the regular edition will be 5,184 yen for the Blu-ray and 4,104 yen for the DVD.
Attack on Titan is an ongoing serialized manga drawn by Hajime Isayama in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. With over 40 million volumes sold and translated versions being published overseas, the series has gained tremendous popularity and continues to grow. The anime adaptation started in April 2013, while the “Attack on Titan Exhibition” which took place in 2014 gained great reviews. The movie is directed by Tetsuro Araki, who’s also in charge of the anime series and is well known for directing Death Note and Guilty Crown.
