The key visual focuses on main character Soma Yukihira along with heroines Erina Nakiri and Megumi Tadokoro, and the design incorporates Totsuki Culinary Academy, the setting of the story. There is anticipation over how these expressive characters will look animated.
In other news, it has been announced that the anime will be broadcast on MBS, TBS, CBC, and BS-TBS’ Animeism. Exact dates and times have yet to be announced, so we’ll have to wait for a follow-up report.
Four additional members of the cast have also been announced. First up is Ai Kayano playing Ryoko Sakaki, a female student at Totsuki Culinary Academy characterized by her long hair. With two months left until the broadcast begins, the announcements this time finally give a glimpse at the series’ particulars, which are expounded upon on the renewed official site. The visual also has excellent impact for its 13-character arrangement, and is one that fans of the original work and those looking forward to the anime should see at least once.
Furthermore, a special stage event will take place just before the broadcast begins on March 22 at AnimeJapan 2015. At the special event will be five of the previously announced main cast members including Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Risa Taneda, Minami Takahashi, Takahiro Sakurai, and Natsuki Hanae. The event is certainly a must-see, especially for its importance in raising anticipation for the anime.
