Ota-Q Survey: What fall anime have you tried watching and thought was good?

The results are in for the Ota-Q asking “What fall anime have you tried watching and thought was good?” held on the Tokyo Otaku Mode Facebook page from Nov. 7-11. This time, we received 3,491 responses, and the results clearly show what anime everyone is fired up about! Did the anime you like rank in? Let’s take a look at the results starting with the Overall Ranking.

Splendidly ranked No. 1 with 1,082 votes is Log Horizon 2nd Season! The runner up work barely missing first place by a tiny margin is Fate/stay night 2. The margin between these two works was a mere two votes! Continuing at No. 3 with 968 votes is Psycho-Pass 2. Each of these top three ranking series is a second season anime. Though, when you think about how the popularity picked up from the first season of an anime is connected to the popularity of the second season broadcast, the results make sense.

Next up, let’s look at the rankings by gender.

There was a huge shakeup in the top-ranking series on the Male Ranking compared to that of the Overall Ranking. On the other hand, Psycho-Pass 2 shined in the No. 1 spot on the Female Ranking along with other unique results differing from the other rankings including Parasyte at No. 4. However, in any case, the popularity of the top three series seems overwhelming.

Even when looking at different regions, the results attest to these three series’ rock-solid popularity.
