Miss Monochrome, a character created by voice actress Yui Horie, will release her second single, “Watashi Dake no Monogatari,” on Tuesday, Sept. 23. The day prior, she will make an important announcement on the Niconico Live program Washi-sta. A marathon of the anime Miss Monochrome - The Animation will also occur on Niconico Live on the same day. It seems this will be a monumental day for the series.
Miss Monochrome is an original bishoujo character created by voice actress Yui Horie. In October 2013, a short 5-minute TV anime adaptation by Liden Films and Sanjigen called Miss Monochrome - The Animation began airing. In the anime, Horie plays the voice of Miss Monochrome. The anime depicts her tough struggle to become a favorite idol. It picked up attention for its CG animation.
In the forthcoming Washi-sta special, fans will be able to look back at what Miss Monochrome has done so far. The special will show pictures from when she was first introduced at a Yui Horie concert in March 2012, and it will introduce the various ways Miss Monochrome has been developed including the TV anime, comics, a Nendoroid, games, and more. Also, in addition to the first showing of the full-length music video of her second single “Watashi Dake no Monogatari” to release on Sept. 23, there will be an important announcement from Miss Monochrome. Washi-sta will broadcast on Sept. 23 from 21:00 to 22:00 JST. The marathon of the anime Miss Monochrome - The Animation will broadcast on the same day from 23:00 to 24:00 JST. Moreover, after the anime marathon at midnight on the release day of her second single, Miss Monochrome will make an original announcement.
Events will also take place in stores to commemorate the release of her second single, “Watashi Dake no Monogatari.” Those who pre-order or purchase the single in-store on the day of its release will receive on a first-come-first-served basis a color illustration signed by Miss Monochrome.
