Cover Album of Songs by Overseas Music Divas Sung by Hatsune Miku to Release

The release of a mini album of house covers of slightly nostalgic hits from the 2000s by Jennifer Lopez, Melanie C., and other overseas divas sung by Vocaloid Hatsune Miku has been announced.

DaisukeP and 24village, who are leading creators in the Hatsune Miku Vocaloid community, are participating on the album. These English songs sung with extraordinary skill using the Version 2 Vocaloid will take fans’ breath away.

Other sound creators on the album include M∀LI, who offered many songs to the party hits series Groovy which ranked at No. 1 on the iTunes Club Chart, Hikaru Mizushima, winner of the Hideki Matsutake Award given out at the “Derivative Work Workshop 2” event held by Nico Nico Douga, and other top club musicians including AwaAwa and WTRTNGC are also participating. This is a successful melding of Vocaloid Hatsune Miku and the club scene.

Also, the jacket illustration of the album was created by popular Pixiv artist Rou.
