Alodia’s Tokyo Life #4: Enjoying Harajuku with a Charismatic Blogger

We bring to you the fourth installment of “Alodia’s Tokyo Life,” which chronicles the everyday life of world-renowned cosplayer Alodia by Alodia herself!

This time, charismatic blogger Hachu (Haruka Ito) showed me around the birthplace of kawaii culture: Harajuku!

We met at the Harajuku landmark, Laforet. First, we went to my favorite wig speciality store, Prisila. Japanese wigs are high quality and cute! I tried on two kinds. Which one suits me best?

When we got to the main street, it was lined with all kinds of cute shops. It was fun just looking at the fashion of those walking around and window shopping through the lively city that is Harajuku.

For lunch, we went to an okonomiyaki shop. It was so exciting to grill our own food over an iron plate and eat it! It was my first time having okonomiyaki, and it’s now a dish I’ll want to eat each time I come back to Japan.

I’m having a blast making friends in Tokyo!
I wonder what we’ll do next time!

Well, look forward to my next report!
