The currently airing TV anime Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha which is set in Kyoto is gaining popularity. There are likely people who have picked up on the fact that all the main characters, including Inari Fushimi, were named after stations on the Keihan Line. Because of this connection, a collaboration between the series and the Keihan Line is advancing, and there are many plans in store that fans will be happy about.

One plan that has already been enacted is headsigns designed after each of the characters appearing on the class 1000, 2400, 2600, 5000, 6000, and 7200 trains that are in operation on the Keihan Line (each train has one headsign). A life-size cardboard cutout of each character––Inari Fushimi, Kōji Tanbabashi, Keiko Sanjō, Chika Marutamachi, and Akemi Sumisome––is also on display in the station that character is named after. This is playing a role in increasing interest in the Keihan Line.

Unlimited-use tickets will also be sold as part of the collaboration. These will be sold between Feb. 15 and May 6 and they will only be valid during this time as well. The price of a 1-day pass is ¥1,200. Tickets will be valid on the entirety of the Keihan Line as well as the Keihan Electric Railway Cable Line (excluding the Otsu Line).

The unlimited-use tickets will be available to purchase at the following stations: Nakanoshima, Yodoyabashi, Tenmabashi, Kyōbashi, Moriguchishi, Nayagawashi, Kōrien, Hirakatashi, Kuzuha, Chūshojima, Tanbabashi, Gionshijō, Sanjō, and Demachiyanagi. They come on an exclusive cardboard backing that has an Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha poster design, and they also include a sticker designed after that station’s name sign.

The unlimited-use tickets will be available for advance purchase at an advance screening event of Episodes 3 and 4 of the anime to be held at KBS Hall in Kamigyō-ku, Kyoto on Jan. 31. The event will be held three times with doors opening at 16:00, 18:00, and 20:50. Be noted that the 18:00 and 20:50 event times will require separate tickets (¥2,500 including tax).
