On Jan. 25, 2014, the art collection Gundam Fact File: Mechanical Illustrations will be published by De Agostini. This two-part art collection will include over 150 exclusive illustrations of the popular Mobile Suits and Mobile Armor. It is based on the Gundam Fact File series that was published between 2004 and 2007, which, at the time of its release, was the first complete data file for the Gundam series, making it largely supported by fans.
Some of the highlights of Gundam Fact File: Mechanical Illustrations include illustrations drawn by the character designer and CG illustrations of some of the series’ most memorable scenes. Also included are a restructuring of the exclusive illustrations drawn for the original Gundam Fact File. Fans can thoroughly enjoy to their heart’s content the illustrations that span this 192-page magnificently sized B4 art collection. Because Di Agostini is so good at knowing just what will light the collector’s soul in fans, There is no doubt that these will be indispensable collector’s items for fans.
Each book costs ￥3,790. There is also a two-book set that comes with an original sleeve box and is limited to 3,000 copies. This set costs ￥8,480. Furthermore, the original sleeve box will be sold as a separate item available only online for ￥900 (All prices do not include tax.).
