Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka?, a Popular Work in Manga Time Kirara Max, Gets TV Anime

A TV anime for the 4-koma manga Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka? which is currently serialized in Manga Time Kirara Max has been decided. The official site also opened at the same time this announcement was made on Nov. 19. Interesting news on the anime has begun being posted to the site.

The main production staff for the anime has also been revealed. Directing is Hiroyuki Hashimoto, storyboard artist and episode director on Angel Beats! and Arpeggio of Blue Steel - Ars Nova. Other staff include Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, whose work includes Onii-chan dakedo Ai sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne! and Walkure Romanze, as series composer and Yōsuke Okuda, chief animation director on Kuroko’s Basketball, as character designer. The anime is being produced by White Fox, producers of Jormungand and The Devil is a Part-Timer.

Another work from Manga Time Kirara Max, Kiniro Mosaic, was also just made into an anime, and it broadcast from July to September of this year. It seems this news about Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka? will create a huge buzz among fans. Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka? is a 4-koma manga created by Koi. Beginning with the main character, a high school girl named Kokoa who begins living in a rabbit cafe, the work has many charming female character who are popular with fans. The work began serialization in 2011. To date, two volumes have been published. In the January 2014 issue of Manga Time Kirara Max on sale Nov. 19, the work adorned the front cover as a large eye catcher for the news regarding the anime that laid within. From here on until its broadcast, every issue of the magazine will feature a page dedicated to news on the anime.
