Hozuki no Reitetsu is a popular manga by Natsumi Eguchi that is currently serialized in Kodansha’s Morning. It was previously announced that this work was being adapted into an anime, and now, information on the cast has been revealed. Furthermore, performers for an event to be held on Oct. 26 have been decided.
Talented voice stars have been lined up for each of the anime’s characters. The main character Hozuki will be played by Hiroki Yasumoto who also played Yasutora Sado in Bleach and Germany in Hetalia. We wonder how he will play the sadistic and talked-about Hozuki. Other main cast members include Takashi Nagasako as King Yama, Daisuke Hirakawa as Momotarō and Yumiko Kobayashi as Shiro. Since these veterans have more than 10 years of experience, a stellar performance from each of them is expected. The cast is rounded out with Hiroki Gotō as Kakisuke, Takashi Matsuyama as Rurio, Tetsuya Kakihara as Karauri, Tōko Aoyama as Nasubi, Eri Kitamura as Okō, Sumire Uesaka as Peach Maki, and Kōji Yusa as Hakutaku.
The event “Autumn Huge Announcement Meetup in Hell - Toranomon” to be held ahead of the broadcast of the anime on Oct. 26 and will feature an interview in commemoration of the TV anime and a live recording of a web radio show. Three members of the cast are scheduled to participate: Yasumoto, Kobayashi, and Yusa. An additional evening performance of this event has also been decided, meaning even more fans will be able to attend.
Advance tickets for the event will begin being sold via the official site on Sept. 7 for 3,150 yen each (including tax).
