Kodansha, linked to their “Summer e-Books 2013” e-books and comics fair (beginning Aug. 29) will launch a campaign called “Attack on Summer e-Books Titan Capture Campaign” featuring Isayama Hajime’s extremely popular comic Attack on Titan.
Between late July and early August, 1/1 scale reproduced balloon heads of the 50-meter Colossal Titan which appears in Attack on Titan will appear in two locations somewhere in the city. At the venues, a specially made fan (limited to 5,000 at each venue) will be distributed to promote the Summer e-Books 2013 fair.
Beginning six days before the Titan’s appearance, hints related to the place where the Titans will appear will be set on Kodansha Book Club’s official Twitter page (@Kdigibooks). From among those who correctly predict the Titans’ locations and submit the answer on Twitter (first 2,000 names), 20 people will win a specially made QUO card. Even if you guess two places your chances of winning will increase two fold. Also, on the day of the appearances, new urgent orders will be dispatched. To those who successfully clear the mission, a wonderful present will be presented. The latest information on this campaign is being distributed in advanced via the official Twitter page.
