T-shirts designed after the anime that is shocking the world, Attack on Titan, have arrived. The T-shirts were created by Nippon Broadcasting’s T-shirt brand 193t, which creates collaboration T-shirts designed after anime and comics. The T-shirts went on sale on July 3.
Attack on Titan is an anime full of mystery and despair that tells the story of humanity’s fight against creatures called Titans who devour humans. The anime began broadcasting in April of this year to worldwide acclaim.
The show is packed with high tension and adrenaline-filled action, and the story is continually impressive, week after week. Of the anime currently broadcasting, Attack on Titan is a standout hit that is fascinating viewers everywhere with its raw, gritty portrayal.
Five types of T-shirts have gone on sale: “Counterattack,” “Rogue,” “Friendship,” “Caution,” and “Recon.” The shirts feature bold designs of the main characters Eren and Mikasa, as well as the work’s iconic Titans and come in unisex sizes of XS, S, M, L, and XL (However, not all the shirts come in the XS size.).
193t design producer Less Kitayama doesn’t just produce products themed after new anime such as Love Live! School Idol Project and Ghost in the Shell: Arise, but also masterpieces of the past such as Kinnikuman, Serial Experiments Lain, and The Iron Giant. Expressed on the Attack on Titan T-shirts is the overwhelming despair discussed in the series and the determination of the Recon Corps to stand up and fight against the Titans.
These Attack on Titan T-shirts have been so popular that they are currently sold out. The next project currently in the works is one with the anime Date A Live.
