The TV anime for Servant x Service, a manga currently serialized in Square Enix’s manga magazine Big Gangan, will begin broadcasting on July 4 on ABC and will thereafter be broadcast on other stations.
The original work is a 4-panel comic by Karino Takatsu, the same author who created Working. Set at a city office somewhere in Hokkaido, the story is a “governmental work” comedy that depicts the activities of the slightly oddball staff.
Recently on the anime’s official site, the “Dream Jumbo Servant Poll” was held. This was a voting poll in which the cast of the main characters each expressed what plan they would like to implement for Servant x Service. Fans were able to pick which plan they liked the most, and the plan that gets the most votes will actually be implemented.
The recommended plans included Ai Kayano’s (Yamagami Lucy) plan to “hold an event in Hokkaido!” and Tatsuo Suzuki’s (Hasebe Yutaka) plan to “include a swimsuit or hot spring episode in the anime!” In all, there were five plans to choose from.
Furthermore, the main cast will appear on June 30 at the event “Dream Jumbo Servant Poll Decisive Vote Meeting.” Of those who voted in the poll, roughly 700 will be chosen by lottery to attend this event.
