The iOS version of the online smartphone game app Shadowhaze is now available on the App Store.
Shadowhaze takes place in the celestial world, the demon world, and the earthly world. It is a dark fantasy card battle RPG in which you collect pictures that have the powers of heroes and legendary gods to break curses. The game is free to play, but does contain microtransactions.
What makes Shadowhaze special is the mini game called “The Trial of Destiny.” The main objective of the game is to collect the “portraits of heroes,” but then suddenly the mini game appears and you have to decide whether to take the trial or not. If you clear the trial, you get the “Spirit Orb” which gives you various benefits. On the other hand, there is also the risk of losing the orb in your possession and losing bonuses, were you to fail.
Besides being rich in tactics, this card game also tests your quick-thinking skills with sudden monster attacks and The Trial of Destiny. Furthermore, you can obtain the “portraits of heroes” as cards and make a collection of them.
