It has been announced that Tokurei Sochi Dantai Stella Jo-Gakuin Koutouka C3-Bu, a popular manga currently being serialized in Monthly Young Magazine, will be adapted into an anime series. The title of the anime will be changed to Stella Jo-Gakuin Koutouka C3-bu, and there will be other alterations to the contents.
Tokurei Sochi Dantai Stella Jo-Gakuin Koutouka C3-Bu is a school life manga that started its run in 2012. The original work was created by Ikoma with Tomomoka Midori responsible for the drawings. Until now, one volume has been published, and the second volume is planned to release in coordination with the start of the anime, which is scheduled for summer 2013 on TBS Network.
Masayoshi Kawajiri will have the director’s chair and Manami Umeshita will be responsible for character design. The animation will be made by Gainax, which is known for anime such as Gurren Lagann and Medaka Box.
Stella Jo-Gakuin Koutouka C3-Bu is an adolescent survival game story with a shocking start, namely, the protagonist Yura Yamato finding a Desert Eagle pistol under the pillow in her dorm upon joining Stella Academy. Check the official website for more details on the anime’s story.
