“Mobile Suit Gundam” Fashion Items Displayed in Hong Kong at C3 2013!

Strict-G, a men’s apparel brand that uses the Mobile Suit Gundam universe in it’s products, held its first exhibition at C3 2013 in Hong Kong on March 15, 2013 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. They were selling T-shirts with printed logos, flight jackets, and more.

Strict-G, managed by Bandai Apparel division, has developed numerous collaboration items with representative Japanese brands, appealing to not only Gundam fans, but fashion lovers as well. It was born as a genuine men’s clothing brand to symbolize the concept of “Cool Japan.” Strict-G has two shops: one in the Gundam Front Tokyo store and one in Neopasa Shizuoka.

At this year’s C3 in Hong Kong, Bandai (in collaboration with Mastermind Japan) was selling a plastic model series called Perfect Grade. As part of the series, they were selling a completely black figure of Zaku II that came with an original decal and a big-size campus tote bag.

In addition to that, they were also selling T-shirts with the Strict-G logo on the chest that came with a real Gundam Kit 1/200 RX-78-2 hanger as a bonus.

There were also bracelets, sport sunglasses, mobile suits, and flight jackets with either Federation or Zeon logos on them.
