Itasha for the anime Girls und Panzer, which recently reached its moving conclusion, are going to be unveiled in front of fans. From April 2-19 on the basement floor at the Ikebukuro Auto Salon Amlux Tokyo, a commemorative event for the release of the Girls und Panzer Itasha will take place. Many Girls und Panzer items will be on display, including two Itasha, cardboard character cutouts, and more.
Leading the event are two Itasha that are being recognized as official Toyota Itasha. The two types of models used for the Itasha are Vitz and Prius, which are both highly popular. Of course, the cars both come fully wrapped in characters from the anime. In addition, the sun visors have been signed by Mai Fuchigami, the voice of the main character Nishizumi Miho, and the navigation system comes pre-loaded with Nishizumi’s voice. The cars are filled with special features and surprises that are sure to set fans’ spirits ablaze whenever they get in them.

A third Itasha using the Spade model (which will only be on display on April 2) will be available to test drive at Amlux Tokyo. The cost to test drive the Itasha is 1,000 yen for 60 minutes. However, only those who have a reservation will be able to test drive it. The car fits a maximum of five people, so it’s a great opportunity to cruise around town in an Itasha with your friends.
The selling of the two official Itasha has, of course, only become a reality due to the large reaction and support from fans.
