Lawson and Tsutaya “Shin Megami Tensei IV” Bonuses Announced

Shin Megami Tensei IV, the most recent work in the popular Megami Tensei series from Atlus will be released on the Nintendo 3DS on May 23, 2013.

The protagonist is an 18 year old man living in East Mikado, a country that bears striking resemblance to Japan. Being guided by words he hears in his dreams, he leaves his hometown and becomes a samurai bent on exterminating demons.

On Feb. 27, Atlus announced bonuses for those who pre-order the game at either Lawson or Tsutaya. Lawson will distribute the “law outfit” and Tsutaya will distribute the “Tau outfit.” Both are original in-game armors that transform the protagonist’s appearance. The law outfit features the Lawson uniform color scheme of white and light blue stripes on the jacket. The Tau outfit is an impressively designed parka themed after the Tsutaya colors of blue and yellow.

The items are limited and only available to those who purchase the game at either Lawson or Tsutaya, so it is recommended that you reserve your copy at the store of your choice soon.
