The Mobile Suit Gundam series has turned out big hits in great numbers, but many people may not have had the chance to see the series’ works of the 1990’s. In particular, this is true for people who became fans of the series in the 2000’s. If you are one of these fans, we have good news for you! Here is your chance to catch up on some of the history of the Mobile Suit Gundam series from the 90’s. A Blu-ray memorial box set of Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team has been announced.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team is an OVA series that was released in the latter half of the 90’s. Even though the series was never broadcast on TV, it is a masterpiece that gained a great following from diehard fans of the series. The Blu-ray box set comes with all 11 episodes plus the epilogue special episode “Last Resort”, as well as a brand-new short film.
A splendid staff, including Shinya Watada and Ichiro Okochi, were assembled to create the new film “Battle in Three Dimensions”. The story follows Shiro Amada and his Gundam, Ez-8, as well as the rest of the 08th MS Team as they travel through the jungle zone to the final battleground. However, they are ambushed by Zeon forces along the way.
The Blu-ray memorial box set of Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team will be released on Feb. 22. Don’t miss out on this chance to own a piece of Gundam history!
