Letter From the Editor

Dear Readers,

I’m your editor, Kuro!
It’s early summer in Japan, so I’ve asked the staff to explore a few cool indoor activities for this issue!

The World Expo is a global attraction taking place in Osaka this year. But what makes it special for an otaku? We offer our perspective in this issue’s Ask TOM Senpai!

The staff at TOM enjoy their hobbies, and one member is excited to share their passion of assembling model kits with you. From building to decals, learn about the freedom to create custom designs by combining different model kits.

Japanese horror is synonymous with summer, and our staff is taking this opportunity to recommend scary anime to fulfill your summertime fun. Find out which anime they chose in our Scary Anime Picks.

Food is always a favorite subject of ours, so we visited the Detective Conan theme cafe in Osaka to see what delicious items were on the menu.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is on the mind of every gamer right now, and our staff is lucky enough to have one. In this issue’s gaming article, we give our impressions on all things Switch 2!

We’re also introducing a new 4-panel manga called “Kuro-kun’s Mini Adventures,” a chill manga about my life outside the TOMZINE.

It’s a packed issue, and we hope you enjoy it!
