Previews Held for One Piece Film Z

Exclusive previews were recently held throughout Japan for the forthcoming One Piece movie, titled One Piece Film Z, which will be released on 15 December. The series of previews started at Tokyo's Odaiba Cinema Mediage. The previews included appearances by the movie's staff, including Luffy's voice actor Mayumi Tanaka and the movie’s director Tatsuya Nagamine, who attracted large crowds at every meet and greet session held.

The movie is set in the "New World" for the first time, and is meant to take place between the Mermaid Island Arc and the Punk Hazard Island Arc. The movie also marks the first time in three years since the series' original artist Eiichiro Oda assumed the role of producer. Joining the stellar cast is the popular script producer Osamu Suzuki of "SMAPxSMAP" fame.
