The Gothicmade Movie Soundtrack Is Now Available

Directed by Mamoru Nagano, the full length mecha anime movie “Gothicmade” began screening in Japan on November 1st. Preceding the release of the movie, the original soundtrack was released on October 31st. The 16-song soundtrack sells for US$37 and includes the opening theme “Prince of the Sky, Song Girl of Flowers”, as well as an original case featuring the design of the robotic weapon, Gothicmade. This is a must have soundtrack for fans. On the same day as the release of the soundtrack, older albums by Maria Kawamura and Mamoru Nagano that have since become hard to find were also released.

For the movie, Nagano is acting as the chief writer and mechanical designer. Nagano is noted for his work on Sunrise’s “Mobile Suit Gundam” series and “Heavy Metal L-Gaim” where he was both the mechanical and character designer. Aside from this, he created his own manga, titled “The Five Star Stories”, which went on to sell more than 8 million copies. He is also a musician, having created music for his series “The Five Star Stories”, which was sold as an image song album. Nagano was also in charge of the music for the album “The Five Star Stories+2”, which was released simultaneously with the soundtrack for Gothicmade.

Nagano has extensive past extensive from directing, to writing screenplays and storyboards, and he has brought all of his expertise and know how to the movie.
