New Toyota Commercial Features 30 Year-Old Nobita (Doraemon)

Recently people in Japan have been talking about the live-action Doraemon featured in Toyota commercials.
Apparently Doraemon is played by film actor Jean Reno.
What does everyone here think? Personally, I find the choice a bit meh…
I wanted them to go all out. I would have preferred it if they had some inexplicable casting like having Lady Gaga as Shizuka-chan.
