Promotional Video 1: TV Anime Bungou Stray Dogs

After the anime adaptation of the original manga “Bungou Stray Dogs” (story by Kafka Asagiri and illustration by Harukawa35) was announced by Studio Bones in August 2015, this first trailer was recently unveiled by Kadokawa early November 2015. Coined to be a battle-action anime between famous contemporary authors with supernatural powers, the story centers primarily on the protagonists Atsushi Nakajima, Osamu Dazai, and Doppo Kunikida, members of a supernatural detective agency; also based on famous literary authors of the same name. Other famous authors to make their appearance include Rampo Edogawa, Kenji Miyazawa, and so on.

The trailer itself gives us a peek at the dynamically fluid animation to be featured in this work, as expected of Studio Bones. Casting information for the characters also reveal that this anime is to feature a stellar league, starting with rising rookie Yuto Uemura, to the talented Mamoru Miyano and Yoshimasa Hosoya. Although a concrete air date has yet to be announced, the anime is set to premiere in 2016.
