In celebration of this year marking the 20th anniversary of Resident Evil, we’re bringing you official CAPCOM gameplay of Kyoka-chan playing the series that defined survival horror! She is joined by special guests ChocoBlanka, a Street Fighter pro gamer, and James Vance, a game producer at CAPCOM. It’s Kyoka’s first time ever playing Resident Evil, so everyone comment to show your support!

This time we’re trying our hand at Resident Evil HD Remaster!
This very first title originally released by CAPCOM in 1996 is well worth celebrating, and is now back in remastered HD quality! The main character Chirs is part of the Bravo Team (S.T.A.R.S.) sent to investigate a series of bizarre murders on the outskirts of Raccoon City. Finding himself inside a mysterious mansion raided by zombies, the aim of the game is to escape the mansion.

ChocoBlanka is the first female Japanese pro gamer in the Fighting Game genre, and the first female tournament champion for GodsGarden. She is also a member of the Evil Geniuses.

James Vance [Game Producer]
James Vance is the producer of Resident Evil Revelations 2, and various other game titles, including the 2014 remake of Strider, Lost Planet 3, and many more. He is currently part of the development team for Biohazard.
