Jeepney with Seto Ohashi painting
The jeepney is the main public transport of Manila, Philippines, or all over the latter. It used to be built up from old WW2 Willy's jeeps, nowadays they are backyard assembled and powered by mostly Japanese truck engines (e.g. Isuzu, Mitsubishi Fuso).
Many, like these one on the photo, sports Japanese anime, culture and even landmarks ! This jeepney sports the painting of Seto Ohashi bridge in Okayama and Kagawa,Japan. The material they use in this kind of painting is spray paint, and they jazz the jeep using an airbrush.
This jeepney is very unique compared to those that sport Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, Fairy Tail, CCS or even Hatsune Miku, because this jeepney has given the meaning of the owner's pride of working in Japan.
Taken by Momoy Sarabia at Marcos Highway-Katipunan Ave. intersection, Xavierville,Q.C. in June 23,2018.
