Story Outline:
A second year full-time worker named Aya Okamura, “A-chan,” started to live by herself after she began working. Her father and his cat “Mi-chan” live together in the same city. Her mother is a doctor living in a foreign country.
Since she started to live alone, A-chan and her father have grown distant. Mi-chan, which became a family member when A-chan was very young, grows old.
One night, A-chan lies on her bed and closes her eyes, feeling very tired after work. She remembers her past memories of playing with Mi-chan and missing her mother.
Then, she receives a call...
