A Certain Magical Index III Reveals New Cast Members!

Additional cast members have been revealed for upcoming fantasy anime A Certain Magical Index III!

Nine new cast members have been confirmed for Season 3: Matsukazu Masaya as Kakine Teitoku, Hino Mari as Riméa, Shindou Kei as Carissa, Harada Sayaka as Villian, Koyasu Takehito as Knight Leader, Morikawa Toshiyuki as Fiamma of the Right, Soumi Yuko as Elizard, Hara Yumi as Oyafune Suama, and Doi Mika as Oyafune Monaka.

Additionally, “Gravitation” by Kurosaki Maon and “Kakumei Zenya” by Iguchi Yuka (the voice of Index), the anime's opening and ending themes respectively, will be released digitally at midnight on Oct. 6.

A Certain Magical Index III is adapted from a popular light novel series written by Kamachi Kazuma and illustrated by Haimura Kiyotaka. Season 1 of the TV anime adaptation first aired back in 2008, with Season 2 following in 2010 as well as a movie in 2013.

The franchise is set in a world in which the lines between magic and science have become blurred and features a series of mysterious incidents which stretch the limits of human knowledge.

A Certain Magical Index III is set to premiere on Oct. 5.
