Petals

I thought it might be terrifying if sakura tore through her back and the branches hung like the wings of a demon, so I finished this esquisse.
This sold at Winter Comiket in Voltage of Imagination and was drawn for Chie Fukami’s song “Hitohira” (Petals) off of the CD “Kusou Katsugeki” which is concepted around the hit chart of a fictional anime.
And here is the original novel it’s based on: Ango Sakaguchi "In the Forest, Under Cherries in Full Bloom.”
