MintJam is a rock band by a2c and Terra that continues to grow in popularity ever since its formation in 2003.

The band enjoys massive support in the indie music scene, it also stands in the first line of the industrial scene doing sound production for popular games, anime, and movies. They are releasing a concept album with the tag of the energetic mangaka/illustrator Asato Mifune!

The album “Kuusou Katsugeki” is themed around a fictional hit chart of anime songs that was released by Voltage of Imagination, and it features the collaboration songs of MintJam and Asato Mifune titled “Black-alley Spiders” and “Doubt”.

That picaresque world colored in a unique style became very popular in and outside Japan, which is shown in the huge number of guitar cover videos uploaded to Youtube after the release. There were also numerous comments requesting a sequel.

This time, in response to the voice of the fans, we rearranged it, and we are releasing it as a stylish full album themed around “betrayals and schemes”!

The combination of the heart-stirring, passionate sounds of guitarist a2c, the soulful voice of Terra that gets a tight hold of the listener’s heart, and the vivid world of Asato Mifune creates a shower of sparks!
