Born on Nov. 30. Native of Sapporo, Hokkaido. AB blood type.

Made her major label debut in October 2011 with her first single “MEMORIA,” which was selected as the ending theme to anime TV series "Fate/Zero" and debuted No. 8 on the Oricon Weekly Single CD rankings.

In 2012, she released her second single “AURORA” (opening to third generation episodes of the anime TV series "Mobile Suit Gundam AGE") in September and her third single “INNOCENCE” (opening to Fairy Dance arc episodes of the anime TV series "Sword Art Online") in November, which beat her personal record when it debuted at sixth in the Oricon rankings.

Her long-awaited first full album "BLAU" came out on Jan. 30, 2013 and gained the No. 4 spot when it appeared on the Oricon Album rankings. She has gained much international support, receiving over 300,000 likes from around the world on her official Facebook page and performing at Sakura-Con in Seattle, USA, and AnimagiC 2013 in Bonn, Germany, as well as the two Anime Festival Asia locations of Indonesia and Singapore, in conjunction with the sale and distribution of her first album in over 20 countries worldwide.

In January 2014, she released her much-anticipated second album "AUBE"––which features a total of 14 songs that include “Sirius,” which was used as the opening theme to the TV anime series "Kill la Kill," and TBS series "CDTV" opening song “Cobalt Sky”––and went on a 5-city and 6-venue tour of Japan.

Eir Aoi is an extremely talented female vocalist who is increasingly in demand with the building momentum of the scheduled release of the TV series "Sword Art Online II" opening theme “IGNITE” on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014.
