Door to Another World

An illustration for a special magazine feature. The theme of the feature seems to be “Journey to Another World.” Beginning around 2013 I really got into the “Lost in an MMO world” genre seen in Japanese light novels, and I wracked my brain over making this different from but slightly onboard traditional fantasy.

Wizardry is an MMO I have experience with, but even more than being a bit into it, I also considered that it might be too serious… The girls here are gamers who overcome with ease troubles with a mood like that of munching on potato chips, and it seems they’ve reached a majestic new map.
