Special Live Event “Live 5pb. 2012” Heats Up Autumn [2/3]

Appearing on stage next was Marina who performed the opening theme for the upcoming game Shoujo Shiniki: Shoujo Tengoku, called “Kimi-Tsunagu”. Akiko Hasegawa then took the stage to sing “Miracle Yell!”, the opening theme for the Xbox 360 game Majiten: I Seriously Made an Angel. Taking the stage next was the Akihabara idol group Bakusute Sotokanda Icchome who energetically danced while singing their song “Yoropiku Pikuyoro!” Next, taking the stage all wearing masks, was the cover band Nagareda Project who performed the opening theme to the anime A Certain Scientific Railgun, “Only My Railgun”. The band returned to the stage to act as Ayane’s backband for the song “Cry Out”, finishing up the first stage’s performances with a bang.

Turning to the second stage, the cast of Robotics;Notes gathered for a talk session. As luck would have it, Nanjo Yoshino, the voice of Senomiya Akiho was chosen by a roll of the dice and she gave out signed pictures and other goods to fans in the audience. After the talk session ended, Shikura made a speech jokingly criticizing the MC assistant’s overexcitement. A roar of laughter from the crowd ensued.

Before the performances continued, the new game in the Steins;Gate series, Steins;Gate: Senkei Kousoku no Phenogram, was announced for the first time. The game will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 in the spring of 2013. Unlike other games in the series, this time the story will be told not just from the viewpoint of Okarin (Okabe Rintaro), but from other lab members, such as Mayushi (Shiina Mayuri) and Christina (Makise Kurisu), as well. With this addition, fans are sure to get excited about the game.
