Kokushibo - Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer)
Kokushibo is part of the Twelve Demon Moons and has the rank of Upper Moon One -- the strongest of all of the Moons in the Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) series. Before becoming a Demon, he was called Michikatsu Tsugikuni and was part of the Demon Slayer Corps. He was one of the first breath users and is Yoriichi Tsugikuni’s older twin brother.

In his Demon form, he is a tall, pale, young man with long black hair which he keeps tied up. He has a total of six eyes, all of them arranged on an angle to make the bridge of his nose the center. His eyes have a red sclera and yellow irises. His middle pair of eyes have the kanji for Upper Moon One written in black while his other eyes have black lines running through them. On his forehead, neck, and chin, he has red marks similar to flames, which could be the same marks as the Demon Slayer Marks from when he was a human. He wears a purple and black patterned kimono and a black hakama tied with a white cloth. This clothing is the same as what he wore as a human. As a human, his appearance was very similar, apart from the extra eyes. His eyes were a soft brown and normal white sclera. After he was decapitated, he turned into a hideous demon with large fangs, horns, and sharp appendages protruding from his body.

History
As a human, he was born in an age where twins were thought to bring misfortune due to succession struggles. As the older twin, he was brought up in luxury, which would have given him good enough education and food to become a strong samurai. After his subordinates were killed by Demons, he abandons his family and joins his brother to become a Demon Slayer and gains a Mark. After gaining the mark, he is told that, in exchange, he is cursed to die by the age of 25. Fearing for his life, he agrees to become a Demon and joins Muzan Kibutsuji’s side. Later, while battling Gyomei Himejima and Sanemi Shinazugawa, he is beheaded and dies after seeing what a hideous monster he has become, which only makes him lose his will to live.
Personality
Kokushibo pursues strength and greatly desires to be the strongest, causing an inferiority complex towards his younger brother. At first, he thought of himself as superior and pitied Yoriichi, but after witnessing his strength he became jealous and began to hate his brother. After becoming a Demon and witnessing the death of his brother, however, he realizes that at the same time as hating his brother, he also loved and cared for him dearly.
Skills and Abilities
- Master Swordsman: As a human, Kokushibo was one of the First Breath users and was an extremely skilled swordsman. As a demon, these abilities were further enhanced.
- Demon Slayer Mark: He had awakened the mark during his time as a human, which enhanced his skills. The mark's abilities were also improved even further when he became a Demon.
- See-Through World: A different perspective of the world which grants him superhuman kinetic vision, allowing him to see through his opponents. This lets him accurately predict and anticipate the movements and attacks of his opponents.
- Enhanced Regeneration: Kokushibo was able to regenerate his severed body parts with no effort. Even after being decapitated by two Pillars, he was able to regenerate his entire head.
- Blood Demon Art: Produces Demon blades that can regrow at will and are covered in eyes.
