Enmu - Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer)
Enmu (魘夢 Enmu), his kanji has the meaning of demonic dream which is a representation of his Demon Blood Arts. He is a member of the Twelve Demon Moons and holds the position of Lower Moon One in the Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) series. Enmu has the looks of a pale young man dressed neatly in a white buttoned dress shirt and a long black button up coat. He also wore pinstripe grey pants and plain gray shoes, showing a type of western suit when compared to the rest of the Lower Moons who wore Japanese clothes. He has chin length black hair with the tips of his hair being an orange color. He also has two longer strands of hair showing a green color. His eyes are a light blue with the kanji for Lower Moon One written in his iris. His right eye shows a short horizontal line instead of a pupil similar to frogs. Under both his eyes he has three square shaped marks, each separated by a small dot. The boxes, starting from the ones near his eyes, are a green color which fades to an orange then to a yellow. He usually has a blank expression but, at the thought of causing someone pain he becomes very joyful.

History
Enmu first appears in the Dimensional Infinity Fortress after being summoned by Nakime for a meeting about the death of Lower Moon Five Rui. He stays as a passive onlooker while the other Lower Moons are killed off one by one until he is the only one left. He is the only Lower Moon to survive the meeting because Muzan Kibutsuji took a liking to his sadistic tendencies. After receiving lots of blood from Muzan Kibutsuji he plans to kill Tanjiro to be able to receive even more blood. He assimilates his body with a train to be able to eat the 200 passengers sleeping inside in one fell swoop to be able to gain lots of power. His plan is blocked by Tanjiro Kamado who awakens from the dream he was trapped in. After the rest of the Demon Slayers awaken, he fights both Tanjiro Kamado and Inosuke Hashibira by trying to trap them into his dreams while attacking the passengers at the same time but is stopped by Kyojuro Rengoku, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Nezuko. He is later killed by Tanjiro Kamado who cuts his ‘neck’ which had turned into a train cart. Enmu continues to curse the Demon Slayers while slowly disintegrating he realises that he even with the extra blood he had gotten from Muzan Kibutsuji he was still not as strong as an Upper Moon.
Personality
Enmu shows very sadistic tendencies, shown by how happy he was when Muzan Kibutsuji killed the Lower Moons and enjoyed listening to the screams of the other Demons. He loves watching the pain and suffering of humans and loves mentally tormenting his victims. He would show humans nightmares after showing them happy dreams and savors the warped faces they make after being struck by misfortune and continues to watch them groan in pain. He also shows slight masochistic tendencies which we can see when he shows pleasure at the thought of Muzan Kibutsuji killing him. Although he writhes in pain from the abundance of blood] from Muzan Kibutsuji he still laughs in joy. He has no care for human lives, thinking of them as nothing but disposable pawns. He doesn't warn the humans he uses of the dangers of entering the Demon Slayers dream and simply gives out false promises. Enmu is also very smart and manipulative, using the thought of having sweet dreams as an incentive he makes humans his tools and forces them to do his dirty work. He exploits the weakness of humans and makes them kill each other. Although he is very intelligent, at the thought of receiving more blood he becomes overconfident thinking he could kill Tanjiro Kamado and the Upper Moons.
Skills and Abilities
- Enhanced Powers: Enmu held the position of Lower Moon One, the strongest of the Lower Moons and by receiving an abundant amount of Muzan Kibutsuji’s blood all of his abilities were enhanced making him stronger than before.
- Sleep Tickets: By mixing in his blood with ink on the train tickets Enmu could put anyone who touched them to sleep.
- Connecting Rope: Enmu could create a unique kind of rope. When tied to someone trapped inside one of his dreams and an outsider it allowed the outsider to enter into the dreams of the person who was trapped. To enter into the victim's dreams, the outsider would first have to tie the rope to the victim and to themself then fall asleep.
- Assimilation: Enmu displayed the ability to assimilate and fuse himself into a large train and transform it into his main body.
- Flesh Detachments: Enmu can create flesh detachments from his own flesh and blood. He is able to create a detachment the same size as his body in order to trick others into thinking that it was his real body.
- Blood Demon Art (血鬼術 Kekkijutsu): Enmu ability is his power to enter, manipulate and control someone's dreams. He is able to break their minds by destroying their ‘Spiritual Core’ inside the dream which will mentally cripple them but not their body. There is also a risk of being influenced instead if the dreamer has a particularly strong consciousness.
- Compelling Hypnotic Whisper (強制昏倒催眠の囁き Kyosei Konto Saimin no Sasayaki): A mouth forms on Enmu’s hand which tells the opponent to sleep and forces them to fall asleep.
- Coerced Swooning Sleep: Eyeballs (強制昏倒睡眠・眼 Kyosei Konto Suimin: Manako): Enmu creates multiple eyes which have the kanji for ‘dream’ (夢 Yume) written on their irises. When the opponents' eyes meet they fall asleep.
