It’s official: the first screenings of Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale will begin at midnight right when the clock rolls over to Saturday, Feb. 18. Fans will gather at 30 theaters across Japan to celebrate the movie’s release and be among the first to get to see it! If you’ll be in Japan, join in on the celebration too and attend a screening!

・Moviegoers must be 18 years or older.
・A special freebie will be given out to attendees at each theater prior to showtime.
・Information is forthcoming on first screening pamphlets and other goods that will be on sale at theaters.

Stage greetings will also be held on Saturday Feb. 18 and Sunday, Feb. 19 at theaters in Tokyo and Osaka! Appearing on stage will be members of the cast and staff including Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, the voice of Kirito. Due to a flood of entries though, only a lucky few fans will get to attend the stage greetings.
