The hinges are designed to look like the Nichirin Sword's guard when you look at the frames from above.
The pattern of Tanjiro's haori is reproduced on the inner part of the temples.
The black-to-red gradation on the temples symbolizes the change to the Sun Breathing. Tanjiro's scar is laser-engraved on the temple tips.
