Glad to have a full set for cheap!

Like everyone else, I got one full set with 2 extras (mine were Serenity and Chibiusa). When I originally discovered this set on eBay, they wanted $30 plus shipping for just *one* figure! But TOM to the rescue - what a great bargain by comparison.

A great variety of fantasy art!

I was not familiar at all with this series before buying this book. The art previews caught my eye, so I took a chance - I'm so very happy that I did!

The book has 144 pages - the first page is a simple page with the name of the series on it, the two after that have the table of contents with very small art/screenshots of scenery. There are seven pages at the end with all Japanese text, followed by a two-page index of all the art in the book, and lastly a page with credits. So from pages 4 through 132 is all completely art! There is also a removable poster that is about two pages wide, which is the same image as the cover.

For the most part, art takes up an entire ...

Just what I'd want out of an fan book!

I'm not familiar at all with this series, but the art style of the cover was interesting enough for me to take a look, and then look up some of its other art online. I thought the book was really good, so if you're a fan of the series, you'll love it even more! I was a little worried since there aren't any preview photos of what the book looks like inside, but I took a chance, and was glad I did.

As a huge fan of her art, I was surprised and happy to see a couple pages of original artwork by Arina Tanemura (Full Moon wo Sagashite, Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne, Gentlemans Alliance Cross, Sakura Hime, Idol Dreams), and then learned she did design work for Idolish 7. Beyon...

My first negative review - I was so hopeful, and then so let down...

While the title of this is 'Official Art Book', I feel that's a poor description. Yes, it covers the art from the game and various photos, so I give it 2 instead of just 1-star, but the way it was done was utterly disappointing.

The book starts with a decent sized poster (maybe 20"x30"), which is nice. It's then divided into five sections - Scenario (14 pages), Character (18), World (30), Illustration (80), Extra (8), plus a dozen title pages here and there.

Scenario, Character, World, and the last 6 pages of Extra are almost all Japanese text with tiny screenshots that are about 1"x1", some maybe 2"x1". That's 68 out ...

Look at the cute puppies!

I've always loved the Mameshiba plushies, and own quite a few of them. When I saw this book, I figured I couldn't really go wrong for just $10. *At this time*, though it says it's 'Made to Order', it shipped out on the same day as my other items in a separate box.

The book has pictures on all but two or so pages. The very first page when you open it is a full sheet of stickers! There are 37 stickers in total - at least half of them are maybe 1cm x 1cm in size, the others are maybe half an inch to an inch. A couple of those are just very small fruits - I think they're yuzu (they resemble lemons).

Pages are generally a picture of one of the dogs...

A must for anyone who loves designs and concept art

I've never played Knights of Glory, but the artist being the same as Final Fantasy Tactics caught my eye.

The book is a nice 151 pages, and all of it is art. It's divided into 4 sections - Job (pg3-28), Dragons & Monsters (pg29-90), Weapons & Armor (pg91-134), and Story (135-151). As you can see, character art is not really the focus of this book.

The Job section shows both genders for each class, and puts two classes on each page. They also include tiny chibi/SD art in the corner of the avatar in a standing pose. The art is by no means polished - it's just like Tactics art, so shading is not dramatic, and a little flat even, but still has that charm...

Short, but sweet

I enjoyed this book, my first one from this artist. The quality of art is mostly consistent on each page as it is in the photos, and the colors are just as vibrant. I do, however, have a couple of complaints.

The image on the front of the book is also inside of the book, only it takes up two pages since it shows a nice view of them high up in a town overlooking the ocean. This itself is not so bad.

But the book actually only contains 12 pages of art, with the cover photo taking up two pages as I mentioned before, and one of the other works also spans two pages, so there are only 10 unique pieces in this. It counts the cover, the inside of the cover (where it tells you ...

Huge and full of great art!

First off, this is indeed an art book. Except the four pages for a new section of the book, there are no pages with gameplay screenshots, tips, guides, text, etc. It's all art.

It's divided into Official, Character, Cutscene, and Concept Art.

Official Art (pg4-44) - The book starts with 32 pages of illustration art - like what you'd see on the cover of the box, group shots, etc. Very beautiful! Mixed into that are a few extra pages of character poses.

Character Art, part 1 (pg45-153) - These pages show off the entire body of each character in standard poses, along with alternate costumes for some of them.

Character Art part 2 (pg154-174) - ...

Gorgeous Art!

Having ordered from the site a couple of times and receiving the clear files that hold your order info, I loved the artwork that was on there. When I saw this book come out by the same artist, I knew I had to have it, and ordered it the day I was notified.

The book is breath-taking, and contains nearly 180 pages of illustrations, plus the last 10 pages or so of the book out of the 191 in the description are an index of sorts with tiny pictures of the illustrations, along with what is probably their title and a brief description (I can't read Japanese). The color and quality are excellent.

Something to note (and not that it should deter you) - not all of the illustrat...
