Purchased For Someone Who Loved It!

I purchased this Nendoroid for my brother who is a big Onodera fan and he absolutely loved it. Says it personified her character so well and he loves the detail. Happy customer!

A figma is still a figma.. even if it's beautifully detailed.

I've never been a fan of the figma line-up. Simply put, joints put me off. However, being as this is Saber we're talking about (I have a thing for Saber), I thought "why not?!" Sadly, I was disappointed in the end. Not because of the built, or detail, but because it's still a figma.

Let's start with the pros before anything else. She's very well crafted. The detail in her small 1/10 scale size is absolutely great. The shining armor, the fluttering skirt, the facial appearance, the gauntlets, and even the decorated sword and sheath are fantastic. There's so many points of movement from her elbows, to knees, and even her chest and neck....

Nendoroid Kongou

Kongou Desu!!

Kongou is an absolute joy of a character, namely experienced in the anime adaptation of the game. She's the big sister type with a heart of gold and I believe Good Smile Company did a fantastic job personifying her into a Nendoroid.

She comes with probably the biggest assortment of stuff (only topped by Yamato) and tons of things to pose her for. Sitting and drinking tea, posing for battle, firing all cannons, and even.. taking damage (who would even do that!??!).

The detail in this petite Nendoroid is amazing and there's so much to do with her that I loved my purchase. Though I will warn those with little patience, she's a bit of a battle to put together ...

Make Your Waifu A Reality!

I'm one of those sad individuals with way too much love for that blonde Saber class from the Fate Franchise. A slew of 8 Nendoroids and 9 full scale figures and counting line my shelves. So the chance of making my so called "waifu" a reality is a bit comical to some, but fitting for others.

Thankfully, this Aniplex release was available from OtakuMode, so I bit the buy button and never regretted it. After receiving it, I'm happy to say it was a worth while investment. Her dress is incredibly heavy built and sturdy, her bouquet is colorful and beautifully contrasts her dress, her sleeves are slim and lovely, and she even has a bit of a secret in the removabl...

Kyoko Sakura in a Whole New Light

The Puella Magi Madoka Magica series never really captured me until I watched the Movie Series. Yes, I seen its golden writing, but the movies fixed the pacing and tightened it up. However no matter what, I could never deny my love for Kyoko Sakura and Sayaka Miki. So it's no wonder I bought the two Meiko Editions in a pair!

In the over 100 figures I own, one thing always bothers me from purchase to ownership, and that's the transition from vendor pictures to actual finished product. The colors always never seem to make the transition. However, Sayaka and Kyoko from Stronger don't seem to fall into that issue. Kyoko's red hair is absolutely eye catching and...

Sayaka Miki - How Can You Not Love Her?

Too Much Shirobako Is Never A Bad Thing!

The Shirobako series did a lot of things great. Though two things stand out the most: Great and huge cast of characters and a look into a very complex business with great detail. This artbook almost feels like a love letter to both of those facts.

With over 400 pages of content, it nearly exhausts anything and everything you'd want to see of the show. Character designs, sketches, unique drawings, production assets, even the huge amount of thought and detail they put into everything. There's even segments showing what efforts they put into realizing the shows the characters in Shirobako created.

Also with this book was a envelope containing key frames of the ep...

Absolutely Stunning

I was pretty sure I'd love this the moment I ordered it. Being a huge fan of Fate/stay night and Unlimited Blade Works from Studio Ufotable. However, this was beyond my expectations.

Inside a thick protective clear sleeve is a sturdy chipboard-like framing that houses the art. By itself, it can be propped up with its built-in kickstand or hung on a wall easily enough. Inside the framing is a layer of art. The top layer is a cell of the characters drawn on a translucent sheet, the second layer is the background print, the third layer a pre-coloring sketch of the characters, and then finally the back is a shaded sketch of the characters. Three fantastic works of art if yo...

Absolutely Beautiful!

Upon watching the more mature Rin Tohsaka in the later segments of ufotable's Unlimited Blade Works, I was instantly in love with her design. So it was no surprise that when Aniplex announced this wall scroll, I wanted it badly. Thanks to Tokyo Otaku Mode, I was able to order this beauty, and it has managed to exceed my expectations.

Rin Tohsaka herself is elegantly dressed in a beautiful kimono with an assortment of colorful flowers sprinkled about. Casually holding a bag at her side, her pose and expression speaks of her noble and rich heritage while also her maturity.

The background to her is simple but also very elegant as well, having a hidden pattern that&...

A Tsundere In The Palm Of Your Hand!

At first glance, it didn't seem as if there was much to Rin Tohsaka's Nendoroid form. However, Good Smile Company never fails to deliver something that catches both the life and the feel of each character they transform into chibi form.

She's a fighter, a genius, and also.. a bit flustered to express herself. Each of these traits come forth in a slew of accessories, arms, and faces. It's enough to make you wish you bought more than one of her. You ponder if you'll display her holding her sword and casting a spell, giving off a blush and flustered face, or perhaps wearing her glasses and putting off a intellectual pose.

It's all too mu...
