Essential merchandise for Lain fans

Merch of any kind for classic anime Serial Experiments Lain is very hard to come by. Apart from "Omnipresence in Wired" (another essential book for Lain fans, with loads of beautiful illustrations by legendary artist Yoshitoshi Abe), there is this book, somewhere between a guidebook and encyclopedia for the anime in particular. It's laid out by episode with character profiles and similar as well as thoughts of the creator and production notes. Even if you can't read Japanese, it's worth picking up just to have, since Lain merch is so hard to find (and most is exceedingly rare and out of print or out of run.)

Superb kit, couldn't ask for better

Lina was my first Volks kit and I couldn't be more pleased with the result. Like all Chara-Gumin kits she's made of pliable resin-PVC hybrid material that doesn't require you to wear a respirator while sanding and does not require the difficult process of pinning and puttying like a typical garage kit. Lina comes with instructions for assembly so you know exactly how to put her together. She does not require painting to be complete, but DOES require some paint if you want her to look like the picture--but this much should be obvious to you if you're even CONSIDERING buying a garage kit.
I painted mine to add shading, tweak colors in places, and just generally make...

Great, subtle shirt, fits well

For Gainax fans this is a great, subtle shirt you can wear without being hassled about your interests or hobbies. It's comfortable and slightly fitted, but should fit a variety of body types male and female. I'd say buy whatever size usually works for you and you'll be fine.
I recommend it, it's inexpensive and nice to have some more old-school merchandise.

Wave T Case Long Display Cases
Wave T Case Long Display Cases$8.99 - $23.99

Not perfect but excellent for the price

I bought this case to display sets of very old Evangelion gashapon figures which would always become lost in larger cases but were too big for some of the standard cases designed for very tiny figures. The case is a simple construction--you lift off the clear part and arrange your figures on the black piece, then put the top back on. The base is not 100% even, so figures may need some help to stay standing if they are wobbly (you can't lean them on the walls of the case since you have to lift it off to put things in it.) In addition, this is a minor nitpick, but the little oval on the top is quite unsightly.
It is very hard to visualize the size until you get it in person. It&ap...

Neko Atsume Love
Neko Atsume Love$10.99

Odd but very cute!

For anyone who's got a serious Neko Atsume obsession and likes Vocaloid music, you're in luck with this little CD. I honestly bought it almost entirely out of curiosity because I couldn't even find samples of the songs online, but it's really cute.
I bought version "Kuro"; all versions are the same except for what cats will be present on the clear overlay and in ONE different song for each. The main song "Boku no Takaramono" is simple and cute, just a little song about being a cat (lyrics booklet is included.) The Kuro unique song is bouncy and cute and made me imagine what a cute Neko Atsume anime might be like.
At this price I'd say ...
