Because of Covid related delays, it took a while for Yuji to make it here, but he arrived today and I couldn't be happier. He's perfect! Paint, pose, sculpt, base, it's all just as I expected it to be. I absolutely love the Kotobukiya Artfx J line of figures. I've purchased quite a few of them and I've never been disappointed. I debated on whether or not to buy this figure and had actually talked myself out of it until she was pretty much sold out everywhere. Then Christmas happened. My brother gave me a card with a nice stack of cash in it and pretty much at the same time TOM sent me a notification that Wang Zhaojun was back in stock, but they had 1 only. As a big fan of BL and yaoi, I've been so happy to see some really nice figures produced based on characters from a few of my favorite manga. I recently purchased the Classmates statue and ring set and of course when I saw Kurose and Shirotani of 10 Count offered I knew I had to have them. Creating them as bunny boys would never have occurred to me, but as whimsical as the idea is, it works! Shirotani's pose, I think, really expresses his character. A little shy, a little masochistic, but in spite of his phobia, a little adventurous as well.

Today I'm reviewing the Classmates (Doukyuusei) Statue & Ring Style Figure Set. First of all, let's get the most important part out of the way. I love, Love, LOVE it! The sculpting is excellent, the likenesses of both Kusakabe and Sajo (Sajou) are very true to the manga images. And I have to say, the hands are just amazing. They're near ethereal. The paint is wonderful. The tinting on the fingers is maybe a tad too dark, but otherwise on the arms, faces etc. it's outstanding. My figure arrived today and I am thrilled! Absolutely love it and I haven't even taken it out of the box yet! I believe the ArtFX J line produces some of the best collectible figures and after seeing this one, I stand by that belief. This figure of Yue is gorgeous. I can honestly say that and I haven't even taken him out of the box yet! Really looking forward to seeing him with his wings and stand and though I'm halfway afraid to remove him from his box, I think my need to see him fully assembled and on display will probably win out.

Bunny Boy Black has a smile that's sweet and little bit shy. So cute! He's a study in contrasts. Equal parts naughty and angelic. Really adorable. I'm so glad I purchased him along with Bunny Boy Amber. I haven't taken either one of them out of the inner liner, but they look just like their pictures and I'm looking forward to setting them up tomorrow.

I have only one complaint and it's in regards to the box. It was opened. The seal was peeled free. There was a crease in the center of the upper lid where whoever opened the box slid their thumb in between the lid and box and applied pressure to lift the lid. Bunny Boy Amber stands a little over 3" and every inch is cute as can be. I haven't taken him out of the inner liner yet, but he looks just like the pictures. The assembly appears to be easy (attach head to body). I'll be setting him out tomorrow along with his counterpart Bunny Boy Black. I can't wait!!

This Mikazuki Munechika figure portrayed in a fierce action pose is a thing of beauty. The whirl of the fabric as he pivots, the bared sword ready to strike, the defiant expression on his face as even wounded he defies all comers to try their swords against him. I now have 10 of the 1/8 scale Touken Ranbu figures and one of the things I love most is the diversity of their outfits. With Kane-san you get the more traditional samurai look and with the addition of the Shinsengumi haori he's perfect! And that gorgeous long hair. Beautiful! The intricate sculpting, the attractive colors and stunning design details, all add up to a wonderful, quality figure. Good Smile's Orange Rouge line has produced another winner!

I've collected quite a few of the Touken Ranbu 1/8 scale figures but I must say that Hotarumaru is one of my favorites. I mean seriously, look at that face. So cute! It seems so incongruous to see such a shorty with such a long sword, but frankly I think it's one of the things that makes this figure so outstanding. That sword is nothing less than eye-catching. I started collecting some of the Touken Ranbu scale figures a while ago. I kept waffling over whether or not to purchase Nakigitsune but I finally caved. I'm really glad I did. He's cute and that foxy pose is adorable! The sculpt is really nice as well as the clothes, the paint job and of course Nakigitsune's little fox companion. All in all another quality figure from Orange Rouge. Very happy with my purchase.

Even when he's not on ice Victor is gorgeous! I've been anticipating this ArtFX J version of Victor and he's every bit as beautiful as I hoped he'd be. The face sculpt, the outfit, the paint, every detail is perfect right down to the Makkachin tissue holder. Once again the ArtFX J line does not disappoint. Yuri!!! On Ice is one of my absolute favorite anime series. Every time I look at this figure I just know it will inspire a smile. I love it!! And Kotobukiya, if you're out there, please do an ArtFX J version of Yuri!

I really like this figure. The pose is so active and brings out Victor's grace on ice. The all black outfit is an excellent contrast with Victor's hair and really accents the pose. My only complaint is I wish the face was just a bit more Victor-like. It's good, but not as good as the face of the ArtFX J version of Victor. Still, all in all, I find this to be a figure well worth having.

... And in a great way! Persona 5 Hero: Phantom Thief Version is absolutely fabulous. Every detail is beautifully sculpted, the paint job is marvelous and the figure's pose draws you right into the action. What I love most is that the figure, especially the face, perfectly match the photos that are presented to tempt purchasers. I've purchased figures before in which the face was no where near as nice as the prototype. No such thing with ArtFX J. What you see is what you get. I've never yet been disappointed with any of the ArtFX J figures I've purchased. They're all great!

You know how when you look at figures and you wonder if the one you'll receive will be as good looking as the one in the pictures? Well you don't have to wonder about this one. Tsurumaru is just as gorgeous in person as his pictures portray him to be. Beautiful face, detailed clothing and accessories. Excellent paint job. Just wonderful. Am very glad I purchased him!

I'd been salivating over Cloud Strife for some time and so I finally gave in and made the purchase. I'm so glad I did! He's amazing. The facial sculpt is realistic and just plain gorgeous. All the details of the figure - the hair, the clothing etc are so well done. When it comes to buying figures I know will be top quality, Play Arts Kai has become one of my top picks. If you're a Final Fantasy fan and you get a chance to buy this figure, I highly recommend it. Even if you're not a game fan, anyone who likes Urban Fantasy type figures would love this. I just ordered Zack Fair. Can't wait to have these two guys together!

Okay, I know I've said this about the other three Final Fantasy XV figures - Gladiolus, Ignis, and Prompto, but the same holds true for Noctis - he's absolutely gorgeous! The workmanship on all the FF XV figures is impressive. The sculpt, painting, clothing and weapons designs are all detailed and perfect. If you're dithering about whether or not to buy one, two, three or all of them, make the purchase! These are some of the nicest figures you'll ever own especially if you like Urban Fantasy type stories, figures etc. It sounds so cliche, but they really are awesome.

Promto Argentum arrived today and he's every bit as beautiful in person as he is in the pictures. And that face. He's got the most impudent smile, you can feel the confidence radiating off him. I love the Final Fantasy XV figures. The sculpts are gorgeous and the clothing and weapons so realistic. I love the Play Arts Kai figures. Looking at the pictures, you know what you see is what you'll get, and in the case of Ignis Scientia what I got is gorgeous. Seriously this figure is manly, edgy and just plain sexy. The sculpt is beautifully done as is the outfit right down to the tiniest details. The weapons design is amazing, and so realistic looking you'll find yourself wondering if they'll actually cut something. For anyone who likes figures and Urban Fantasy type stories or movies, this figure is for you. I also purchased Gladiolus, Noctis and Prompto. Can't wait to get them!

I've purchased all the Dramatical Murder nendoroids that are out so far, Aoba, Noiz and Koujaku. They're all just seriously too adorable. I have Clear on order and I'm really hoping Mink and Ren will be coming because the set just wouldn't be complete without them.
