Appearing in the wildly popular TV anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica and its three films, Beginnings, Eternal, and Rebellion, Homura Akemi is voiced by Chiwa Saito in the Japanese version and Cristina Vee in the English version and is one of the main characters alongside Madoka Kaname, Sayaka Miki, Mami Tomoe, and Kyoko Sakura.

She’s first introduced as a quiet and shy new transfer student at Madoka’s school, Mitakihara Middle School. Although she comes across as cold, she’s very intelligent and athletic. She gives vague warnings to Madoka, and it is quickly revealed that she is a magical girl like Mami with a mysterious hatred for Kyubey.
