Cecilia Alcott is one of the central heroines of the light novel series Infinite Stratos written by Izuru Yumizuru with illustrations by Okiura and Choco which has also been adapted into a popular TV anime franchise produced by 8-Bit and directed by Yasuhito Kikuchi.
Cecilia is a first year student at the IS Academy and is an IS Representative Candidate from the United Kingdom where her family belongs to the aristocracy. After her parents are killed in a tragic train accident, Cecilia is forced to defend her family fortune from gold diggers everywhere and is determined not to marry a weak-willed man like her father.
After demonstrating that she possesses high IS aptitude, Cecilia makes a deal with the British government to attend the IS Academy as a Cadet Representative where she eventually meets and falls in love with series protagonist Ichika Orimura.
At the academy, Cecilia pilots the Blue Tears IS which is a long range sniper model capable of deploying four remotely controlled drones using the B.I.T.S. System for engaging enemies at mid range and is equipped with the Starlight Mark III large laser rifle, as well as the Interceptor - a short blade designed for close combat use.
