  “One Room” is a short anime that shows the everyday life of the adorable girl next door through first-person. Season one was broadcasted in 2017, and the decision to produce season two has already been made. We decided to start this “One Room” VR Project because we would like you to enter the world of “One Room” and become the protagonist!

This is the international crowdfunding project for the development of the “One Room” VR app, which has already raised funds in Japan through Campfire!
Please lend us your support to explore and experience our high-quality 3D content that is much more than just an anime!

Featuring character designs by Kantoku that have been transformed into 3DCG by Gugenka®!
Character designs for “One Room” are by Kantoku, the renowned illustrator/character designer who has worked on titles including A Sister's All You Need and The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat.
Voiced by popular voice actress M.A.O, Yui Hanasaka will offer a variety of emotions and responses to your actions.

Takuya Igarashi, the main 3DCG artist of Gugenka®, will handle the 3D modeling required to bring Kantoku’s character designs to life in the VR world. Gugenka® is a recognized manufacturer in the field of VR anime presentations. It has worked on titles including "VR Life in a Different World With Emilia" and "VR Life in a Different World With Rem."

Pushing the limits of smartphone VR content through position tracking
Until now, VR content for smartphones has not offered much more than 360° displays. Features such as position tracking offered through VR on PCs and gaming consoles, where the location data of users is measured, have been unavailable - until now. By combining Apple’s ARKit technology and VR content, Gugenka® has made position tracking possible through the image data collected from the back-camera of smartphones. The incredible accuracy received an enormous reaction in Tokyo Game Show 2017!

Providing a smartphone VR touch feature to interact with characters
Don’t you wish you could touch the objects and characters you see in VR? Touching in existing VR content for smartphones has been possible by connecting controllers, but we are aiming to provide a touch feature that is easier to use and more intuitive. In “One Room,” you can move objects around and even use them. Our feature that allows you to touch as you do in real life will greatly enhance your sense of immersion.
Controls may differ for different types of devices.

Of course, you will also be able to gently pat Yui’s head to praise her for studying so hard.

To concentrate on her studies and prepare for her college entrance exams, Yui moved from Hokkaido to Tokyo who’s staying with her sister while she looks for a job. “One Room” is the VR anime that brings this situation to reality through “your” perspective!

Your VR experience begins when she introduces herself as your neighbor after moving in.

You will be living in the same studio apartment from the anime series! Everything is designed to actual scale, which boosts the sense of immersion.

Your living room, kitchen, bathroom, changing space, and toilet (sample image of the room design under development).

Freely explore your room and pick up various objects to use them!

For example…
You can take pictures with your smartphone or watch videos on TV.
Objects that are perfect for starting conversations and interacting with Yui, such as your handheld mirror, watch, fan, clothespin, air freshener, toothbrush, and shoes, are also available in your room!

You can even use the “One Room” CD for some background music.

The CD contains “Harumachi Clover,” the theme song of “One Room” performed by Yui Hanasaka.
It also features a remix of the theme song, the instrumental, and other background tunes used in the anime, adding to a total of ten tracks!
Use the CD to experience scenes from the anime for yourself!

  **Touch Mode: Created with an abundance of VR knowhow** With Touch Mode, a mode we designed for maximum reality, you can touch Yui and other objects in your room to make the most of your interaction with her. Yui will respond with “Hey!” / “Hmph…” / “Ah…” and other expressions depending on what you do. *Mode name yet to be finalized.*

Conversation Mode: For the most natural situations
Our goal is to allow for natural conversations through AI, but that is difficult to achieve with the technology that is currently available.
So, we will offer a Conversation Mode instead to help you converse naturally in different situations with Yui!
Let Yui lull you to sleep by lying down beside you or letting you rest on her lap, and enjoy the most relaxing moments with her.
Mode name yet to be finalized.

1 Million JPY: Cook up the Apron Edition [Reached!]
We will release the Apron Edition, in which Yui will be wearing an apron in all scenes. (Planned to be sold separately. )
Objects (vegetables and yogurt) exclusive to the Apron Edition will also be featured!

**1.5 Million JPY: Uncover the Swimsuit Edition! [Reached!]** Bringing us to this stretch goal will allow the Swimsuit Edition to be released. (Planned to be sold separately. ) In this edition, Yui will be dressed in her swimsuit in all scenes. Swimsuit Edition exclusive items (water gun, bubbles, sponge) will also be featured!

The white bikini illustration by Kantoku has been converted into VR content!

**2 Million JPY: Unlock bonus dialogue while you are resting on her lap in Conversation Mode! [Reached!]** Additional content for the main app content. 
**3 Million JPY: Say hello to a life-size AR Yui figure! [Reached!]** Reaching this stretch goal will allow us to create the world’s first AR figure! The figure will be there for you to see at work, at school, or even in the bathroom! Help us reach this goal to enjoy a brand new collection experience!

About AR Figure HoloModels™
HoloModels™is a new technology from Gugenka® that combines augmented reality (AR) with figures. Using AR technology, it allows you to start a figure collection in a virtual space based on your real-life room. You can make the figures as small as your hand, bring them up to actual size, create detailed poses with even their fingers, and change their expressions to your liking. HoloModels™ makes it possible for Yui to visit your room in her uniform, apron, or swimsuit!
AR figure not included in the rewards of this project or stretch goal. Funds will go towards development; AR figure will be released and sold separately.

 M.A.O was born in Osaka and is currently represented by Yellow Cab Next agency. In addition to voicing Yui Hanasaka in *One Room*, she has also played the role of Hinako Sakuragi in *Hinako Note*, Meguru Akatsuki/Angel Rose in *Twin Angel Break*, Raptor 283/Washi Pink in *Uchu Sentai Kyuranger*, Hikari Yagami in *Digimon Adventure tri.*, as well as many others.

 Kantoku is the illustrator who worked on the character designs for the *One Room* TV anime series. He has also provided illustrations for Gagaga Bunko’s *A Sister’s All You Need* and MF Bunko J’s *The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat.*

Q: When will I be charged?
**A: **You will be charged immediately upon backing the project.

Q: When will rewards be shipped out?
**A: **Rewards are scheduled to be shipped out in June 2018.

Q: Are the rewards that ship to Japan and ship internationally different?
**A: **No. The available physical rewards are the same. The only difference is the shipping cost.
The reward in Japanese crowd funding platform CAMPFIRE also includes admission to the VR app demo event which is expected to be held in Tokyo in April 2018, but this is not included in this international version. Please note the reward number "4" as well as "Course C" is omitted from the international crowdfunding project as they refer to the VR app demo event.

Q: Can I back multiple rewards?
**A: **You can, but not all at once. Please back them one at a time (they will end up being separate transactions and shipments).

Q: I noticed that all prices are displayed in Japanese Yen. If I am paying with foreign currency, how will exchange rates affect my payment?
**A: **Rates may differ between credit card companies. Please contact your credit card company for further information.

Q: Why can’t I click the “Reserve” button?
**A: **Please ensure that you have filled out your payment method and shipping information and try again.

Q: Will only backers be able to play the game?
**A: ** The app is expected to be released in May 2018 through the iTunes Store and Google Play Store for both backers and non-backers. App is not part of the reward, and will need to be purchased upon release.

After Backing

Q: Where can we indicate what name we wanted listed in the credits?
**A: **After the project ends, we will contact those who have backed courses F, G, H, and I with more details about how you can register your name.

Q: Will the rewards be available for purchase outside of the project?
**A: **All reward items are exclusive to the Japanese and international crowdfunding projects.

Shipping

Q: How will my rewards be shipped?
**A: **Rewards will be shipped directly from Japan by Tokyo Otaku Mode, which has experience in shipping products to over 130 different countries. Rewards will be shipped by Air Small Packet Registered.

Q: Do I need to pay for shipping costs?
**A: **The cost of shipping is included in the price of each reward, so you will not need to pay for shipping. For fairness, reward prices are the same regardless of the country you reside in.

Q: Will I need to pay any additional import duties, VAT, customs taxes, or local handling fees when receiving my reward?
**A: **Depending on your country’s customs laws, you may be required to pay a tax before obtaining your package. In some areas, such as the United Kingdom and France, the local postal service may charge an extra handling fee for processing packages affected by customs taxes. Payment of customs taxes and any possible handling fees is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Q: Can I change the shipping address for my backed projects?
**A: **Yes. You can edit your shipping address from your My Page.

Q: What happens if I don’t receive my rewards or if my rewards arrive damaged?
