Shokugeki no Soma to Return For Season 5 From Apr. 2020!

Fans can look forward to another helping of popular cooking anime Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma with Season 5 from Apr. 2020!

A teaser visual of Souma and his friends against a background of cherry blossoms was also released.

Based on the manga by Tsukuda Yuto and Saeki Shun, the series follows middle schooler Yukihira Souma and his journey to culinary school and beyond.

It was first adapted as a TV anime in 2015 with Season 2 following in 2016, and Season 3 airing in two parts spanning 2017 and 2018. Season 4 wraps up on Dec. 27.

Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma Season 5 airs from Apr. 2020.
