20th anniversary movie Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, has unveiled to the public a trailer featuring older versions of Davis Motomiya (Daisuke Motomiya in the Japanese version) and his friends, as well as their faithful Digimon partners!
The trailer shows Davis, Ken, and Cody meeting up in New York with Miyako, who has been studying abroad in Spain. The scope of Last Evolution will not only be limited to Taichi (the original DigiDestined leader) and the others' adventures in Japan, but will also venture overseas.
Preliminary casting for the movie has also been confirmed, with the voice talents behind the 02 DigiDestined being completely new to the roles. Katayama Fukujurou will play Davis Motomiya, Arthur Lounsbery will play Ichijoji Ken, Asai Ayaka will play Inoue Yolei, and Yamaya Yoshitaka will play Cody Hina/Hida Iori. Their Digimon counterparts are Noda Junko as Veemon, Takahashi Naozumi as Wormmon, Tochika Koichi as Hawkmon, and Urawa Megumi as Armadillomon.
Digimon: Last Evolution Kizuna will open at cinemas across Japan on Feb. 21, 2020.
