Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma will be back this October for a fourth season titled Shokugeki no Soma: Shin no Sara.
It has also been announced that Shokugeki no Soma: Le dessert, an "epilogue manga", will also begin running in Jump Giga 2019 Summer for three months beginning with the Jun. 27 edition.
Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma originally began as a manga by Tsukuda Yuto and Saeki Shun, and has been serizalied in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2012. Following the adventures of middle schooler Yukihira Soma as he attends culinary school, the series is well known for its mouthwatering portrayals of various dishes, as well as its over-the-top reactions. It was first adapted as a TV anime in 2015 with Season 2 following in 2016, and Season 3 airing in two parts spanning 2017 and 2018.
Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma Season 4 will air in Oct. 2019.
