Overlord Smartphone Game Reveals Story and New Visual!

The Overlord smartphone game spinoff Mass for the Dead has revealed story details and a visual, having achieved 400,000 preregistrations!

The game is the latest addition to the Overlord franchise, which began with a series of dark fantasy light novels written by Maruyama Kugane. Waking up in the ruins of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, the headquarters of the legendary guild Ainz Ooal Gown, the player will have the chance to encounter a new Overlord.

In celebration of clearing the 400,000 preregistrations goal, players will be given 500 units of the in-game currency. The amount of in-game currency each player will receive when the game launches will increase by 100 for each additional 100,000 registrations while the pre-release campaign is underway. Fans also have an opportunity to get their hands on a postcard signed by the cast through via a special Twitter campaign.

Overlord: Mass for the Dead is slated for an early 2019 release on iOS and Android.
