Virtual stars Hatsune Miku and Kizuna AI are set to take to the stage for a collaborative performance at TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION Super Live -MATSURI-!
TGC-Matsuri- is a stylish live entertainment show that will offer audiences a new experience thanks to the crossover of real and virtual elements. Scheduled to be held at Shin Kabuki-Za in Osaka on Sept. 15 and 16, the show will showcase popular models, singers, artists, performers, actresses, and other talented individuals across a wide variety of genres.
Miku and AI will be performing “Hajimete no Oto,” a lovely song that was originally performed by Miku at her first solo live performance in 2010, titled "Miku no Hi Kanshasai 39’s Giving Day". A special TGC version of "Gokuraku Joudo" plus other songs like "Yoshiwara Lament" will also be performed.
While they may be the only virtual stars on the bill, Miku and AI will be joined by a number of famous performers at the show. Fans of Japanese pop can look forward to appearances from Dream Ami (Nakashima Ami), MARiA (Mizuhashi Mai), and even more artists.
